Announced LG OPTIMUS G2 - ALL NEW

LG has announced the launch of
its brand-new flagship device, the
LG G2.

LG G2 comes with a 5.2-inch full-
HD (1080x1920) display
impressive 423 pixels-per-inch
(PPI). It is powered by
Qualcomm's quad-core
Snapdragon 800 processor capable
of speeds up to 2.26GHz. The
device comes with 2GB RAM and
offers 16GB and 32GB storage
options.

The LG G2 comes with a 13.0-
megapixel rear camera with Optical
Image Stabilisation and a 2.1-
megapixel front shooter. LG's
latest flagship runs Android Jelly
Bean 4.2.2 and is powered by a
3,000mAh battery. LG G2 sports
dimensions 138.5 x 70.9 x 8.9mm
and will be available in Black and
White colour options.
The LG G2 will be rolled out in
over 130 wireless carriers in the
next eight weeks starting in South
Korea followed by North America,
Europe and other key markets.

LG G2 coms with a unique design
that features the power buttons
and the volume rocker at the back
of the phone, below the rear
camera, instead of the sides of the
phone, as is usually the case. LG
believes this will work better on a
large phone like the G2. It also
comes with bezels as thin as
2.65mm.

Commenting on the launch of the
G2, Dr. Jong-seok Park, President
and CEO of the LG Electronics
Mobile Communications Company,
said, "Our definition of innovation
today is technology that truly
resonates with consumers. We
have always listened to and
learned from consumers in pursuit
of innovation. We took these
insights to new heights in
developing LG G2, the most
exciting and ambitious mobile
phone in our company's history."
LG G2 also comes with some
software features like Answer Me,
Plug & Pop, Text Link, Slide Aside,
and a Guest Mode. Answer Me
automatically answers the call
after lowering the ringtone when
the phone is raised to one's ear.
Plug & Pop recommends options
or related features to choose from
when the earphone or USB cable is
detected. Text Link allows
information embedded in text
messages to be selected and easily
saved in a memo or calendar and
searched on a map or the Internet.
Slide Aside enables easier multi-
tasking by simply "sliding" open
apps off to the side using a three-
finger swipe. Guest Mode is
designed to protects owner's
privacy by displaying only pre-
selected apps when guests access
the phone with a secondary unlock
pattern.

Also included is QuickRemote that
can remotely control popular home
entertainment devices, and also
learn from conventional remotes
and be customised to operate
multiple devices with flexible
layouts and keys.

LG Optimus G2 vs Samsung GalaXy S4 vs HTC ONE

The LG G2 is a refreshing change at
least in terms of button placement
and the new user experience this
particular aspect will bring. While
the G2's design looks similar in
many ways to the S4, the HTC One
is still the best Android phone to
beat in terms of design. However,
it’s not just about stellar looks and
design, LG’s G2 has the right
specifications too. It will run the
powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon
800, quad-core 2.26GHz processor
and one can expect prolonged
battery life thanks to the 3000 mAh
pack. On paper, the specifications
look far better than the HTC One
and almost on par with the Galaxy
S4, its closest competition.
However, the actual performance of
the phone, the usability of the
software and its price will decide
the LG G2’s fate. On paper, S4
emerges as the winner by a very
small margin, but the price could
be the final deciding factor.

BLACKBERRY Q10 hand-on and Review

BlackBerry believes there is a
niche for QWERTY-based
smartphones in today’s mobile
space with around 80 per cent of
users wanting large-form touch-
only devices like the iPhone 5,
Galaxy S4 and HTC One – that
explains the decision to launch
the Z10 first.

BLACKBERRY Q10 INTIAL IMPRESSION -

The BlackBerry Q10 is the first
phone to land running the BlackBerry 10.1 operating system update. As a result, the Q10 is a joy to use, mostly. Jumping through menus and reverting back to the home screen is prompt and fuss free. Opening apps, however takes that fraction of a second longer than desired.
After looking at the Blackberry Q10 in images on the internet for quite some time, I had the impression that it would be a small device. Instead, the Blackberry Q10 feels great in the hand, with beveled edges all around the plastic back. There is a black steel edge around the entire device and a glass front above the keyboard.
The back comes with a gray tweed-over-black pattern, which Blackberry claims is unique to each Black Blackberry Q10. The white Blackberry Q10 has a glossier look and feel to it and it does not have the poly carbonate weave at the back.
Overall, it looks and feels elegant, refined and professional.

KEYBOARD -

Moving on to the keyboard, one
thing to note is that the once
curved keyboard has now been
straightened out and the
metallic frets separating the
rows of characters are now
slightly raised for improved
tactile feedback – in other
words you should be able to feel
where your thumbs are on the
board more easily. The break in
the keys is a nice clean look
however and the overall size of
the keyboard is similar to
previous devices. Impressive.

LOOKS AND REVIEW -

The Blackberry Q10 has a 3.1 inch Super AMOLED touchscreen, albeit with a square 720 x 720 resolution rather than a widescreen aspect like a typical touchscreen phone. It’s a necessary trade-off to fit in the keyboard, but it does mean any video you watch is squashed and hard to view. The screen looks neat though, and the bright and bold Super AMOLED display does a good job of making everything pop.
The Q10 uses a removable 2,100 mAh pack that’s plenty large enough given the relatively compact screen. It is reported that BlackBerry has even taken advantage included some darker color schemes for BlackBerry 10 apps, to take advantage of the fact that AMOLED uses less power for dimmer parts of the display.
Also, I was really impressed with the Blackberry Q10′s browser. Pages load quickly over cellular or Wi-Fi means, and well laid out options and quick access to shortcuts make the Q10 browser is efficient and business like. The QWERTY keyboard makes inputting URL’s a breeze, with no pop-up digital display crowding out on-screen content. It also has an option to load flash content. An impressive feature for business customers is that they can take advantage of BlackBerry’s new Balance feature, which made its debut with the Z10. With Balance, a user can blend both work and personal email streams into a single email stream. (Phones with BES advanced policies set require users to go to separate work and personal email inboxes.) Other apps are divided into separate work and personal containers. To make Balance or these advanced policies work, users must be connected to a BES server, which in most cases means an enterprise buys the server to locate behind the firewall.

CONCLUSION -

In conclusion, I’d like to say that for existing users, the Q10 is an obvious upgrade: it’s the best QWERTY smartphone available in the market today, but that may have more to do with the fact that very few manufacturers are interested in revisiting that segment. It is fast, snappy, and has that old- school Blackberry feel to it. However,  I feel that the Blackberry Q10 is overpriced by at least Rs. 10,000, and the company will have to reconsider it over time.

Sony Xperia Tablet Z launched yesterday

Sony, at a very privately held
event, yesterday launched the new Sony Xperia Tabet Z for India at a price of Rs. 46990. The Xperia Tablet Z consists of the same design philosophy that was put into the Xperia Z.

At first its easy to assume that
the price of the Xperia Tablet Z
is very high, but the feature
packed tablet is ready to prove
its worth. The Xperia Tablet Z
is the only tablet with a Dust and water resistant design (IP55 & IP57). The Xperia Tablet Z is also the thinnest consumer tablet in the world with a thickness of 6.9mm and weighs a
pretty light 495 gms. Quad surround speakers combine with
a new technology called S-Force
Front Surround 3D to excellent sound.

Sony has also bundled lots of free services including Sony Music, which allows you to listen,
download and share unlimited music on the tablet for upto 6
months. Sony Liv lets you watch
SONY TV serials on the tablets
with a collection of over 14,500
episodes of popular shows like KBC, CID, Comedy Circus and
Crime Patrol directly on the Sony Xperia Tablet Z .

Apart from all these features
sony has bundled a high friction
back rubber panel and Exmor RS
based Rear 8 MP and Front 2 MP
cameras both of which are capable of Full HD video calling.
Power processing comes from the Snapdragon S4 Pro processor with 1.5GHz asynchronous quad CPUs and 2GB RAM and for graphics an Adreno 320 GPU. Sony has powered the tablet with a 6000 mAh battery. While it is apparent that most companies like Samsung have launched tablets at cheaper prices, the Xperia Tablet Z brings some interesting features
which actually warrant the 44,000 best Buy price for the
tablet. The sheer fact that this
tablet is water resistant could
be the deciding factor for someone’s purchase.

Review for Micromax A111 Canvas Doodle

Recently Micromax has launched All new canvas doodle from its well known canvas series. It is tagged at a price of 12999rs . It is loaded with android 4.1.2 jellybean .Canvas doodle is 5.3 inch display with  480×854 pixels. It comes with a stylus. It is loaded with 1.2 ghz quadcore processor. 512 mb ram,and 4gb internal memory.
Gaming:

For Gaming performance it is loaded with Chipset Qualcomm 8225Q Processor 1.2 Ghz Quad core And GPU Adreno 203. It is loaded with 512 mb ram which is quite low for a device like this. It also comes with 4gb internal memory but 1.93 gb free for user use, you can expand your memory by putting a sd card of 32gb. As you have inserted sd card ur memory got expanded and many games can be moved to sd card without rooting your device. I have played many games like asphalt 7 ,nova 3 ,dead trigger ,and all of them were running quite smoothly. Nova 3 showed a little bit lag in gameplay but you will enjoy it too.

Hardware and Design :

Micromax canvas doodle A111 is Weighted 168 gms and Dimensions 147 x 76.5 x 9.7mm. Screen size is 5.3 inch and resolution of 480×854 which is not so good for this screen size. The outer body of doodle is made of plastic which is quite durable. It also include a flip cover which is not as much durable but it does its job of protecting screen. The main disappointing factor is the stylus which is not as much responsive,it is also small which does fits in hand. The Micromax A111 Canvas Doodle take a design leap in a
new direction, making the phone
a lot more squarish and flatter
vs the wobbly and curved design
of the previous generation of
Micromax Canvas phones. The
bold new logo on the back,
although appreciated by some, is
almost like an eyesore on a
fairly well finished smart phone,
which constantly reminds you
that you own a “punch” flavored
smart phone.

Camera:

The camera on this phone 8mp rear and 2mp front which is capable recording full hd video . Front camera allows you to do video calls over 3g .The camera quality is fairly good.

Battery ,phone,Network:

As it is brand like micromax it comes with dual sim. One is 3g and another is regular 2g sim. It doesn't faces any network problem. And battery is also quite good for a usage of 1 day but if you are heavy user you would have to charge twice a day.
It comes with 2100 mAH battery .
It can run 3.5 hours of continuous gaming and
Talktime 6 hours and 56 hours of standby.

Conclusion :

Micromax is a trusted brand all over india. Micromax canvas doodle is a good choice phone at a good price range.
